The Ira Aldrige Theater Company, Inc. is proud to present, Live On Stage, "A Raisin In The Sun" by Lorraine Hansberry and drected by Walter Mason, on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26, 2012 at the Nicholas J. Horn Theatre, 3200 East Cheyenne Ave, Las Vegas, NV. This is a benefit performance for the College of Sounthern Nevada Performing Arts Center and the Ira Aldrige Theatre Company. .Limited seating. The Ira Aldridge Theatre Company
The Ira Aldridge Theater Company of Nevada, a 501(c) (3) organization founded by producer, actor and director Walter Mason, is a professional theatre training program for people of all ages. The emphasis is on training of an actor and the development of a person in relationship to their world and to others.

The program provides quality theatre training for the beginner, who is exploring theatre and acting for the first time, as well as the advanced student with previous experience. The theatre's name commemorates the American stage actor who made his career largely on the London Stage. He is the only actor of African-American descent among the 33 actors of the English Stage with bronze plaques at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon.
